Dedicated 10% of work time to the PayPal Business Challenge 2015. Took the program manager role in a team of six to help local nonprofit to solve their technical & business challenges. The goal was to help the organization increase donor base, reduce website drop-off and improve payment processing experience. Our team delivered the solution by creating new website landing page, thank you page, setup Google Analytics, simplified donation flow, and generated automated reporting.
Our team won first place among 12+ teams participating in the PayPal Business Challenge 2015. During the award ceremony, the program sponsor commented "I have never seen a self-managed team (i.e. volunteers) being so well managed." Our team members smiled and pointed at me saying "Thanks to Wendy!"
